LEGO set 700/3A (1954?-Dk)

This is a 700/3A set probably made when the 3A had been recently introduced- there was not yet a 700/3A rubber stamp and so two separate stamps ("700/3" and "A") were used to mark the underside of the box. Also on the underside there is a marked price of 14,65 which is surprising because in 1955/56 the set costed Kr.9,95 in Sweden and Kr.14,50 in Denmark (up from Kr.13,25 in 1953/54), which is not close enough because the prices were set in the catalogues... was someone hiking the price or was it higher for a very short time, maybe because of an addition of windows?

The original contents are unknown and they were fictiously made up based on what might be expected in this set. The colour scheme is based on the colours of the bricks that were better represented in the array that came inside the box. It may be representative of 1954 or 1955 when the colours had started to loose variety and there is indeed a 700/4 box in the LEGO Museum which has the contents in these colours (see it here, near the bottom of the image). The 10X20 baseplate came with the set and it is a vs03 dating from 1954 or 1955. So, if the set is an early one, from 1953, even the baseplate is out of time.

Originally this set would have vs01 windows only. The size of the window insert seems too small to receive vs02 windows, but it may have had vs03 windows, as this one has.
