LEGO set 700/5 (1957-D)

This is a 700/5 set from the first years of German sales (1956 or 1957).

The images above show, in succession, the box cover, the contents, the inside of the box cover, the underside of the box, the insert system (three platforms and a window container) and a few of the bricks and windows with magnification.

The box complement is as follows:

- 10X20vs03 "dogbone" baseplate (1X yellow);

- 2X10 first version from the remachined mold (1X white);

- 2X8vs01 first version from the remachined mold (1X red);

- 2X4vs04 (11X red + 11X white);

- 2X3vs03 (3X red + 2X white);

- 2X2vs04 (5X red + 4X white);

- 1X2vs04 (3X red + 2X white)

- Windows vs04b (full studs with glass) 1 each of 2X6/ two panes and shutters, 2X4, 2X3 and door).

This set is in a desirable original condition (the original box top was damaged and was replaced with one from an empty but identical box). All the bricks are contemporary and nothing in the set is anachronistic.

Inside the box was a late 1956/ 1957 leaflet. You can see it here.
