The cinderella marked "1Fb", above right, is a cutting from the illustrations of an old album. A hundred years ago such illustrations might be postmarked and passed on to foreign collectors who had never seen the stamp except in album illustrations, most of which were printed in black. Often they served as basis to forgeries.
