DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS OF THE FORGERY:

- the "G" in "ANGOLA" is very different from the original. All the side stones in the crown are clearly losangular. The cross on top is simple. The lower part of the crown has a constant diameter, while in the genuine it widens. Numbers in value very different.

5 and 50 Reis known, but the type used to print "50 Reis" is much less tall and it may represent an earlier issue.

CARACTERÍSTICAS DISTINTIVAS DO FALSO:

-o "G" em "ANGOLA" é muito diferente do original. A cruz sobre a coroa é simples. O diâmetro da base da coroa é quase constante, ao contrário do original em que o diâmetro alarga na parte inferior. Os tipos numéricos são muito diferentes.

5 e 50 Reis conhecidos. Este último, com tipos mais baixos, pode representar uma edição mais antiga e imperfeita da mesma falsificação.
