DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS OF THE FORGERY:

-one of the best forgeries but the greek pattern is slightly irregular. The cross on top of the crown is clearly dettached and assymetrical and the three lower pearls of the central arm are crushed. The lines under "ANGOLA" and over "5 REIS" do not touch the frame. The "S" in "REIS" is heavy and the value numbers are not identical to the original. 5 and 10 Reis known.

CARACTERÍSTICAS DISTINTIVAS DO FALSO:

-o padrão grego é irregular. A cruz sobre a coroa está destacada e é assimétrica. As pérolas inferiores do braço central da coroa estão esmagadas. As linhas horizontais sob o nome da Província e sobre o valor não atingem o quadro exterior. O "S" de "REIS" é grosseiro e os números não são idênticos aos originais.

Conhecem-se falsos de 5 e de 10 reis.
