Jouef is a French toy-maker well known for its line of HO trains.

During the 1960s Jouef made an unsuccessful and short-lived foray into the plastic bricks field with the BRIK system.

The system and each part were obviously inspired by LEGO but the locking was different. The studs have a larger diameter and so do not interlock with LEGO.
